destiny 2 account question

hello, I want to sell my destiny 2 account but it has my steam linked to it. Would I also have to give them my linked steam account to give them full access to my destiny 2 account or would I just give them the bungie account?

Im pretty sure you can unlink your steam account from your bungie account.

To unlink an account you must have at least one other account linked to the profile. You then need to log in to your profile using the credentials from this other account as you can't unlink the account you've used to log in with.

I could be wrong, but thats all I know.

Yes this is defently possible. You can unlink accounts from your Bungie profile in your account settings, under accounts & linking. Just be sure to use a different platform account to access Bungie.net, as you cannot unlink the account you are using to login with.

Keep in mind that while Cross-Save is enabled, you cannot unlink accounts; you must disable Cross-Save in order to unlink an account. Doing so will impose a 90-day security lockout from reenabling Cross-Save.

Sorry to necro this but I have a Destiny 2 account linked to my steam I want to unlink and sell, CrossSave is disabled, I only ever played on this PC, on Steam. How should I go about it? Would I lose the stuff I bought? Because its pretty much a starter account with Legendary Edition (all 3 DLC) + lots of Twitch Prime rewards that I wanted to sell for cheap (kinda regret buying it), it wouldnt make sense to sell it if the buyer would have to buy the DLCs again.
