So Yesterday, I Get an IM from everyones favorite imposter, Codoneckero. Although, he was under another name that he copied from the board.
Me being new to this, I Sold him my account. No questions asked, he payed 232 dollars, and used a name by "TIFFANY GONZALES" I didn't ask any questions, he said that he was her son. So i figured whatever. I use my mom's paypal from time to time.
I Recieve the funds, and paypal emails me immidately saying the funds were fradulent and they requested I Refund them back asap (This is true btw. I even called). The CSR on the phone cofirmed the email, and i refunded the funds to the fradulent account.
So I Call blizzard asap, get my account back, Everything's great. I'm out all day today, I get home about 5. And I try and login.
Can't login. Invalid Password. - I think, That's funny. He would have had my email password to change that without me knowing. So i recieve a phone call. Its the guy Calling me haha. AND USING A REAL CELL PHONE NUMBER!!. I Tell him, Obviously you're not tiffany gonzales. he tells me I had no right to refund the payment back to the account and take my wow account back. I Said, You have no right to use fradulent accounts laugh and hang up the phone.
I Go to my email, Sure enough. He hacked my Email, my paypal, and got my wow account back, BUT HE DIDNT HAVE my authenticator code laugh haha. So after IMing back and forth with this guy, he was threatning to "DESTROYZ ME FOREVERZ!" and Not wanting to deal with this anymore, and wanting to close my email and paypal, which i made BOTH FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING (another HA!) i plead innocent and give him my account.
Now I'm not a fool. I know like everybody else. He's going to transfer/delete, do whatever. As long as I show proof too blizzard that It wasn't me, and I had already called in about being hacked on Friday, I'm good. So I give him everything, i tell him to just leave me alone. and change my information, and just keep my account. No money lol. he goes "No money?" i'm like, no. just keep it. I'm done
He responds, thnx u so kindly. very generous. sorry you quit wow.
I Call my local police station, and file a report. Real phone number = BUSTED guy! haha. And I'll still have my account come Monday morning.
I Also called Paypal, Terminated my N00b account, and terminated the yahoo account that was registered to the battle.net account lol. All this guy has is my phone number. Which if he's as dumb as he's acted so far, He'll call me again, and it'll be more of a chance for him to get caught
