Chauns + Strinx (Infinite Trades - discord scam)

If you come across the discord server “infinite trades” leave immediately. The server is a scam, the middleman who goes by the username “strinx” is a scammer, and works with a user called “chauns”, I think they may be the same person.

This is just a warning, proceed with this warning and face the consequences of you decide to continue with the deal.

They usually target new users who don’t know better.

don’t use any off site middleman just use the epicnpc middleman service, at least you know it’s verified. You can either lose “everything” or $4.99

I'd say that majority of discord servers tend to be scams as they can kick you from the server and then you will have zero proof that you were scammed unless you screenshot everything before you get kicked which is why we do not allow members to promote discord servers here.

I was able to catch on, but some others may not. They target new people, so hopefully they able enough to do some research and find threads like this.

Unfortunately most people don't do research prior to trades and end up falling into these scams. Luckily you were able to catch onto the scam before it happened.

I just felt victim to this.
But dont worry I'm the original owner of the account I'm selling and i have all the proof to recover my account. And yes I'll be providing those information once you make a purchase separately.

How they do it.
He'd add u on discord with another account. Then he'd give u a gud offer and says hell find a middleman. Invites to the server above
Process seems legit and after we get the middleman this guy right here https://steamcommunity.com/id/strinxofficial/
And he responds super quick. Once u give gmail he says hes securing account and if you created the gmail in a phone which I did he resets the Phone via Find My Mobile.
After that I msged humans he said it was by mistake
After a while they removed me from the server with no proof of msging left. Haha pretty gud scam.
But I have a large recording of all the chat msges which I recorded using my PC the whole time. I'll be posting in a short period as my internet ain't much

Haha, i'm so glad i googled this discord name before i got scammed. They were trying to do the same thing to me lol.

Unfortunatly I just found this page after I got scammed in value of 300 $. Strinx also has a lvl 180+ Steam account, I will link it here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/strinxyyy/

Trying to get back the accounts.... If anyone has any tip how to hit back on them, it would be very appreciated.

@doomedtofail I am not, but luckily the original owner is a really upstanding guy. I contacted him and he told me if I needed any assistance in recovering the account he would be glad to help. It was an activision account linked to my battlenet account. You can see my selling thread here: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/premium-damascus-mw-account.1627479/

I did already recover the Battlenet account. I also contacted Activision but they said he didnt change any of the information, E-Mail address is also the same. But I can not log-in anymore, password reset function is not working and when I start the game on Battlenet it asks me to log-in., which I cant. I believe he unliked it from my Battlenet, and as incompetent activision is, they linked the account I had to make in order to contact them to my battlenet..... They said their supervisor will contact me via E-Mail to solve the case. Just to make sure I filed a Ticket aswell.
