Can't Verify my phone

Hey I'm trying to get epic verified or whatever the 10$ thing is.

My problem is that it's saying that my phone is not valid even though it's in the area code of what my IP is.

I'm not really sure what the problem is I'm even using the country code before my number.

Anybody I can pm to fix this issue?

It may not like your area code for your area or compared your isp Time Warner Cable. Is your phone number a common area code for your area? like for instance my area code is local for me on my cell phone. but gf's is not because they ran out of good numbers for my area so that hers is from new york not new jersey

I know that a few years back people in my area switch area code so a lot of the new numbers now have a different one instead of the old one.

Would that have any effect?

If so what do I need to do in order to confirm my phone number?

do you have a houseline? Are you using your cell phone? There really is not a lot we can do to bypass this as it is an outside company. we are not personally calling you to verify.

I'm using a cellphone and most phone numbers now use this area code.

I'm already showing my driver license is that not good enough?

I haven't had a landline in years

no the system requires a valid phone number. Like i said we cannot bypass it. Epicnpc will be online in a few hours and will see this. maybe he can find out what the issue is maybe he can contact them and see if its a technical issue

The only time you will get the invalid phone number error is when there is an IP address and country code mismatch.

If you're at work, school or you're on a network with high security, it might cause a problem. VPNs, proxies and other security software might also cause problems.

Try disabling anything that you think might be causing the problem. If you're still getting it, try a different internet connection.

I ended up using my 4g network internet and it worked.
