Cannot find "Scan QR code" in mobile app to login on pc/laptop

I might be blind but I didn't find any "Scan QR code", it only lets me edit or delete my avatar.

...I did find that, I meant where can I find "Scan QR code" on mobile app.
Just outright scanning it with a generic QR scanner does nothing afterall.

The QR scan is only available for desktop, not mobile. How would you scan the QR code on your phone anyway? you would need a 2nd phone.

It works like this.

Your logged in on your phone, but want to login on your PC. You can scan the code with your phone (where you're already logged in) and quickly log into your account on PC.

That is exactly the case. I was trying to login on a different browser, on pc/laptop (I don't memorize my password - was lazy to grab it), but can't find the "Scan QR" on mobile app.

That will log you in into the account on your PC.

The QR code does not appear on your mobile phone, it appears on your PC monitor.

I was trying to find it inside the EpicNPC app.

You don't need a QR scanner. Just open the camera on your mobile phone to scan the QR code.

My phone does nothing when I do that.
I use qr scanner, it does read it, but does nothing.

I still don't understand how the login via QR works.

Scan via your smartphone where you are logged in. Click your avatar and select 'Scan QR code'.

Any real time video/demo around for dummies like me?

Ah, good to know it wasnt just me being blind then.
I was honestly baffled whether we're using the same app lol

On PC, click Login with QR code.

Says Unable to access video stream (please make sure you have a webcam enabled).

I tested it on my phone. Was there apk update too?
I did give it full permission on camera when I use it

At the top of your browser (mobile phone) click the icon next to the URL in the top bar. Make sure in the "Permissions" area it shows "Camera". If it's not listed, you have to give your browser permission.

Go to your app list, find the browser you use and make sure to add "camera" to the allowed permission list.

..URL? Oh, I need to be logged in on mobile browser instead of just mobile app?

Sorry, at this time the Epicnpc app does not obtain camera permissions so you'll have to use the browser.
