can i get scammed by telling buyer account name/pw, changed email, name?

Is it possible for me to get scammed as the seller when i tell the buyer the account name and password, full name, and have the email changed? He wants to transfer the character on to his new account and then he'll send the payment through Western Union. Is this a good/bad idea for the seller?

I am not telling him the cd key or sq/a or phone number or address. (I think he can change address and number with account password and name anyways.)

This is my first time selling an account so I feel quite uneasy as there are possibly so many ways to get scammed and not having a clue as to how it can happen.

No, you NEVER give him the info before him sending the payment, let along transferring off!

You could do a compromise if he won't send payment without half~ the information.

Give him

- Account/pass
- (maybe) email change

The best way to do it is for you to FULLY verify him and see if he's legit. Get his:

- Phone (house, not cell)
- Address
- Full Name
- Ask him to give you his IP (he will if he's legit)

Now go to http://www.domaindb.net and match the IP to his general location he gave you, and do a reverse lookup on the phone number to see if it matches.

Call the phone and verify it's him.

Now, either do the half/half or let him send payment first.
