So... in my ongoing search for a copy of Overwatch, I've been doing a lot of research. This has led me to LOTS of posts of people who have forgotten passwords, answers to security questions or had their Battle.net accounts hacked/stolen.
In a lot of these instances, if the person was able to provide the answer to the security question and/or a copy of their photo ID (passport or drivers license), Blizzard seemed to be more than happy to reset the access to their account...
This leads me to believe that there isn't any 100% safe way to purchase a Battle.net account, as the original owner could always reclaim it via security question (as this can't be changed) or using their photo ID that matches the account name (this can't be changed either) and claiming the account was "hacked".
Is that a correct assumption?
