What is the dispute about? Bought a BDO steam account, he wasn't the original owner as stated but was in direct talks with the original owner about specific details that were incorrect about the account at time of purchase. All logs are present of him specifically mentioning him speaking with the origin owner.

Other details / notes:

It's a steam account, and the account is currently entirely locked down. The only way to remove the lock is show proof of identity, something the original owner could do.

He clearly was in contact with the original owner, as he had to confirm details about some issues with the listing of the account at the time of purchase and talked to them directly through mobile or outside of EpicNPC, even specifically mentions himself speaking with the original owner of the account. I had the account for a day before the account was self-locked. This isn't due to security policies of somebody from a different area, this is using an actual tool called the Self-lock tool to lock the account which means it's basically in early stages of recall. I'm still able to get into the account, but it's basically locked down to the point where I can't do anything with it and it's a matter of time before the account is taken away from me.

I want to get a refund and be done with this, it's clearly getting recalled and within a day's time. Clearly scammed. Not sure if it's by KevinGuzman23 or his friend he was in contact with who he claims is the original owner. Either way, only the OG would be able to pull self-locking because you need proof of ownership in the form of ID and verifications beyond the scope of what I had.

In order to unblock the self-lock I would need to provide physical proof of identity to show ownership, which of course I don't have. This is all provided in pictures as proof within the messages received from steam.

I've provided proof below in the necessary areas. Angel was our MM during the transaction process. Bakuzni was the exchanger for the crypto transaction that was passed off to KevinGuzman23 during the purchase process. Both can testify to me paying him and the account transaction going smoothly.

Proof
######################
You MUST provide proof or your claim will not be valid!

Chat Log Screenshots (make sure username is visible, not display username):

Payment Screenshots (make sure the accused email is visible):

Other proof: We used a crypto exchange to make the transaction. All images there show proof of him receiving both in TG with Angel present and the Group that was formed between Bakuzni, KevinGuzman23 and myself.

Also, to clarify, the images that looks like chatting outside of EpicNPC are him himself talking with the original owner of the steam account (he specifically says he is in the chat logs I've provided) that he's sold me. I ONLY contacted KevinGuzman23 through EpicNPC chat in private messages and through the TG transaction and the group chat when doing the exchange between Bakuzni, KevinGuzman and myself.

It's very clear the original owner or KevinGuzman has recalled the account or they're in it together. I can't make a claim obviously as of yet, and want to get to the bottom of this so I can get my refund for this and not waste any more headaches on it because it's clearly a tainted account that is already in the process of being recalled.

Account Recalls
######################
Most account recalls have little proof. To get more evidence, please open a support ticket to attempt to recover the account BEFORE opening a dispute thread.
Only staff can view this content.

Did the seller say he's the original owner? (provide proof) - He said he wasn't the original owner. But he did show proof that he was in direct talks with the original owner.
What account information did the seller provide you at the time of sale? (ID, SQA, etc) - Email, Steam account login information.
How long did you have the account before it was recalled? 1 day.
If you have a support ticket about this recall, please post screenshots of it. - Attached, I can do little to nothing, they require physical proofs of identity to unlock access. It's very clear this was done using the Steam Self-lock tool which is a very voluntary tool used by the original owner to recover their account. It's very clear this steam account is in an early stage of account recall.
(you can use the HIDE tag so the images are not publicly available to everyone)

To update to this:

My phone number was removed from steam:

Also, steam account credentials have changed and I've been kicked out of Steam completely and not just self-locked anymore:

I think it's obvious this guy has ghosted.

I should have not went through with the transaction when there was inconsistencies in the listing he had made and the fact that the OO (his friend apparently) was on it and playing it regularly up until the sale and making drastic changes on that level to the account prior to selling it, which tells you he was planning to call it back anyway. The red flag I should have respected.

Basically, originally there was said to have been 70b raw silver (says in the title even), turns out the OO had spent pretty much all of it to upgrade the gear. This implies the OO had enough interest into the account on that kind of level to influence the selling of the account. If he's willing to spend 70b to upgrade gear on it, that means he's still playing it and not just "maintaining" it for the sale.

Despite that I still went with the transaction, an obvious mistake in hindsight.

This is a fault on my end and a lack of judgement. Unfortunate, and I know I won't see any money back from this.

Spoke with Ryan a lil today regarding the trade,

Just to mention the user is sending their funds to a KYC'd account on Binance: https://bscscan.com/address/0x4697c528b0c1c20a6dfc8963086520f2fc26a923
There are legal ways to get this back since the account holder's identity is confirmed with the exchange. Just a note.
Also being that his funds also haven't moved since and hasn't been active on the site, might want to give some time.

Best of luck Ryan!
