Now, before I made this post I checked my system countless times to make sure I didn't have any viruses before I go bashing somebody, but it turnned up clean. He was advertising a really good geared rogue and I offered him my shaman. We both showcase our characters in-game, and he was legit and seemed nice enough. Then we exchanged passwords ONLY, and he gave me his, but after I gave him mine he said " [censored] brb " and logged off. I tabbed back into wow to see " Disconnected from server " and I went to log back in and my password was invalid. I went on another SN an sure enough he was on, and didn't respond to any of my IMs. I went to the blizzard retrieve password option, and I entered all my secret info, but that also came up invalid and I had it written down. Is there some new type of thing to get accounts?

So now i'm down an account. =/ Just watch out for him.

Well that has happend to me recently ... all i did i called blizz billing support, ( Because i dont think they can change the OO's name) all i hade to do was tell them my name and my old email address cause he switched it some how. ( and if you have a you authentication key give blizz that also helps alot, thats what i did and got my account back in 1 min after call) Hope this helps you get it back. if you already did Give this info to other ppl in the same situation as us. /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sorry to hear crap lik that happening to you ex...he talked to me one day before he scammed you...and wanted to trade accounts i said i would have to think about it and logged off. After than everytime i im him he ignores me. Im guessing he thinks ima friend of yours . Anyways thanx for the update and i really hope you get ur account back!
