at the end of july 2010 i bought an acount for tessius1111 in person then i was playing this acount for 1 month
then started school full time so i had to stop for the time being when i finished school i bought the cata keys to upgrade my
acount but then when i tryed to log in it said information was invalid so i check my email and i see that theirs
emails from blizzard showing information change the password and email have been changed also so i contacted tessius1111 and he told me he might consider refunding me but i said since it was a while ago i would just take half of what i payed and he didnt answer after that so i assumed
he didnt care

gold him the account in person July of last year provided all information i had with the notice i was quitting Sq was provided with no id (as the account had none) he had my home number my cellphone number and my personal emails, and i believe it was 2-3 days ago contacted me stating the account was lost 3 weeks after purchase (we kept in touch for the first week), quite frankly i dont know what circumstances lead to the loss of this account but despite his attempts to pretend to be a mod on the forums threatening me i attempted to assist him in the recover he had none of the applicable account information and when i scanned through the few records i did keep he went as far as to get access to a druid which he didnt purchase (and old 80 i had laying around apparently) to later on inform me "oh actually i do have the information you provided" quite frankly if this account was lost withing the first few weeks...hell even a month or two afterwards i'd be fine with refunding him but 7 months after he's purchased from me i wont issue a refund this was lost through negligence alone -.-
 
k first of all the phone number u gave me it wasnt yours i called it and it said this number cant be reached as dialed your email u never gave me i still have the paper u wrote down the info at when we met at the internet cafe all u gave me was the guys name and sq and the answer .i contacted him on aim even but it was his gf who answered so if your telling me i didnt try to contact u, dont bull****t please cause the minute i found out it was gone i did and mike if u want i got more emails from blizzard to prove this acount was recalled and thats its been chain traded before the acount was move on to a new WOW acount

He was not pretending to be a mod, I was the one who spoke to you.
 
as i said so many times before i played the acount for a month before i started school full time their was no way i would have been able to know the acount was recalled i was very busy when my course's were done i bought the cata cdkeys to upgrade the acount but when i tryed to log in it said invaild information and i also said i would take half of what i paid u so dont say i wanted full refund even when i posted are convo in this thread

Normally I do so I apologize, however when I mentioned that your account could possibly be banned/suspended I would figure that would be a hint.

Regardless of that fact, You are responsible for accounts you sell on the forum, and if you dont want to refund morfin's money it would be a good idea to at least help him retrieve his account back.
 
he called blizzard but he doesnt have any infomation to the acount so he couldnt get it back and blizzard told him that the character has been moved to a new acount
 
yes it was moved to a new account , i was the one who informed you of this and of course i dont have this information i provided YOU with every shred of information there was when i provided it to you i have no obligation to hold onto the information for this long (i have a few obscure emails) but as i mentioned to you and u were well aware i was done with wow account sales when u purchased it you were a tool, and didn't bother to check into the account, you didn't bother to inform me of any mismanagement on my part, and like I've said and will say again your **** outta luck if your going to contact me half a year later and tell me i cheated you cause when we squared up you didn't have any complains you insist on me going outta my way and pocket to reimburse you for an account you didn't even bother to check up on? sounds like absolute bull**** to me i've never once purchased an account TWV or otherwise and not at least check into the account to make sure its safe, and busy with ur studies bull**** dude when u bought it u just came back into the country you got into a heavy school course 3 weeks after that? my ***

First of all, if you purchase an account without having the ID, as a buyer, you should be well informed of the risks. Regardless, the seller is still responsible for the account, unless he states otherwise. What I need to see to come to a decision is this. I need Morfin to post a screenshot of the email that Blizzard sent you, informing you that the password was changed and the account had been recalled.

When did you find this out? when you called Blizzard what did they tell you about who recalled the account? Did they say someone sent in the ID?

morfin123456, the first email you posted shows "account change notice". Was this when the account was moved? If the email wasn't changed until the 26th, why didn't you reset the password yourself?

What was the policy discussed if something were to happen to the account. morfin123456 did Tessius1111 tell you he would be able to recover the account for you if something happened?
 
i noticed it at the end of januaruy when my semester ended i came back home and the log in didnt work then i saw that i had alot of emails from blizz log with inforamtion change and an email change and the first email was november 18 2010 then they kept coming and then i tryed to contact tessius but apprently it was his girlfreind on aim and she blocked me when i asked for him so i tryed calling but the number he gave me when i dialed said sorry this number cant be connected as dialed so i sent a ingame message and he responded and thier really was not a discussion on what would happen if the acount was recalled we just met at a internet cafe exchange info and that was it

i didnt get told by blizz the acount was moved to a new acount tessius was told by blizz when i asked him to call them then he said only way to get it back was with an id for the regular acount but we couldnt
 
Ok, so basically you didn't see any of the emails until Jan.

This is going to come down to the agreement between you and Tessius1111.

You obviously knew he didn't have the ID and wasn't the OO. Its seems to me you didn't really ask the questions you needed to when you purchased the account. Asking what happens incase of a recall is a pretty big question not to ask when buying a $275 account.

Due the the time that has passed I'm not going to ban Tessius1111 if he doesn't refund partial payment to you. It wasn't his fault you didn't see the emails from Blizzard in Nov, had you seen them, you might have been able to prevent the account being changed or getting locked.

I do think he should provide you with some refund as he should have mentioned something to you about a refund/recall policy, but not 1/2. Maybe 1/3 or 1/4, however this is only my recommendation, Im not going to ban him if he doesn't.
