What is the dispute about? User contacted me regarding a post I made on the CODM forum. Couldn’t pay but offered a trade. Initially declined his offer but later decided to accept it anyway. User gave the login to the Activision account that was linked to the CODM account and I proceeded to change the binds. Site is bugged as all hell so it took much longer than it should have, buyer grew impatient, so in the end I forgot to check if there were other links aside from Activision. Buyer claimed there weren’t, but you never know. Turns out there were.

At the time though, all seemed fine so I gave him the code. He redeemed it and all was well. Few hours later, login from a different location. I contacted the buyer, who said it must be his “friend”. At that point it was pretty much certain that this guy is full of it, but I gave him the opportunity to fix the issue. Didn’t happen. Whoever logged me out was very persistent with keeping things the way they were, so I decided to add them ingame to ask them who they were. They claimed to be the original owner. I explained to him that the account was sold to me and they responded that a German guy stole his account (@Syn98 is German). I added them on Discord asking for more info and he once more claimed that “The German ass hat scammed me” and proceeded to ask me if I talked to “Syn”. Supposedly keeps telling them he’ll pay but never really does.

I contacted Syn again, who claimed to be the original owner), again stating that I’m aware that he’s full of it. He says he’ll compensate me. He doesn’t. Constantly puts it off. Pretty obvious it’s not going to happen either.

Unfortunately Imgur is doing absolutely nothing momentarily so this will have to do for now. To clarify, the Activision account is still with me. I have complete access at the moment. The issue is that someone else has acccess to the Facebook account and it cannot be unlinked. Though even if it could, I have no interest in screwing over an innocent third party.

You’ve been saying that since before the trade even took place. You would make the payment the next day between 12 and 1 PM. Didn’t happen. Then again you promised the next day between 4 and 5 PM. Didn’t happen either. From what I’ve heard, I’m not the first person you’ve made this promise to either. I’m not sure why you’re stalling at this point.

It’s been 3 days since the thread was posted and 4 days since you said you initially told me you’d refund the money. It doesn’t take this long to transfer money to PayPal. 24h or 96h, that refund most likely isn’t ever going to show up. On the off chance that you are speaking the truth, it’s not like you can buy anything without money here anyway so it shouldn’t be a big deal to you.
