What is the dispute about?

So, I have purchased a Blood Elf Priest Full T5 on the realm Whitemane (NA). The seller provided me his ID and the name on account was matching. Three days later, the account got closed by Blizzard "Recent activity shows your account may be compromised. We disabled this account to protect your privacy and prevent further damage."I have just noticed this today and then sent a Discord pm to the seller. I have asked him to help me with this issue, since he is the original owner it would be easy to resolve. He then told me that since I have his ID, I should just pretend I am the original owner. I have then asked him from where he logged in the account, and then I used a VPN so that gm does not notice I am from another country than OO.
Although, that's where it starts to be interesting, and they started to ask strange questions such as "When was the last time that you contacted us?" I have asked the OO to answer this question but he was not helping because he had a meeting which I can completly understand. Then the Game Master started to say that they were asking for these information because the account has been recovered "more than once" and the seller did not tell me this when I bought it of course.
Also he does not want to contact himself the game master to get the account back.

I can prove it it the same one.

Other details / notes:

There were big red flags about this seller, I could not send him money on his paypal account, there was an error. I had to send money to his friend. Probably his pp is banned.

First off,

No one is scamming anyone. I have handled this properly., I multi box so a lot of my accounts are alike. They were not the same. The last account had a Fake Bnet name. This was under my actual name.

This user took the account and must of tried to sell it right away and got it banned. I offered no insurance to the user over Discord. He then was threatening to charge back which I said if he charges back I would come here and report him for scamming. As you can tell he is already pushing actions. The account is already in his hands. I offer no refunds on accounts. Since he got it banned. That is no longer on me. That is not how account selling works. You buy one and take the risk of it getting banned

I told the user I was working as he kept blowing my Discord. I offered to live chat Blizzard and sent him a SS of them not allowing it for me.

My PayPal was unverified so I had him send the money to my moms. IF I have to and this user charges back. I take legal actions against him which I am sure he does not want.

This is all legit and there are chat logs to prove it as he has shown,

There was no need to take this farther like this as Discord stuff is not handled here. Please fix this and get this user to stop harassing me.

The GM said it was recovered once. Which he is not wrong. I recovered it as I made a mistake in my name so when I went to fix it they asked for my ID to fix that.

You got the account banned. Not me. I am not going to debate this.

Also you decided to try to recover the account when I was working. I said I was working and there was Discord chats where I said that. If you had patience I would of helped out. But at this point, you ruined that and opened a dispute against me.
 
The Game Master did not say "once", he said "more than once" as we can see on my video.

WE got the account banned, it's been banned related to our trade. I don't see why I should be the only one responsible of this.

As we can see on the chat logs, you were not really cooperative...

Anyways, the issue there is not even the ban, as it would be probably very easy for you to recover it (I will not give you a tutorial to recall the account, it seems like you know how to do it), the real issue is that it is banned and that you did not want to help me, AND the account got recalled more than one time, which clearly means even if we manage to get this account unbanned, I don't want it anymore.

I dont give refunds. Sorry, You took the account and made mistakes.

It was not recalled more than once. And even if an account is banned you can still log in with no issues. I have plenty have been banned before. You took the risk of "BUYING A WOW ACCOUNT" which is against their TOS. That is not my action to worry about.

Three proofs of the scam:
-this person has already sold his character in January, and he claims that he has multiboxed and that it is a different character that he sold me, but here is a proof that it is the same character:

And let's not even talk about the completely identical visual between the two characters.

- This person has already recovered the account he sold me more than once, as confirmed by the game master.

- The fact that his paypal doesn't work, he claims that his paypal is new and that he can't receive payments. That's not true, and anyone with experience on paypal knows that the error is probably due to the fact that this guy is already listed as a scammer on paypal;

I had originally come to ask him for help to deban the account, and the screenshots show how self-centered the guy is and he clearly refused to help me, in fact he unfriended me.

What kind of seller refuses to help his customer and abandons him altogether?

I apologize in advance to Epicnpc for opening a dispute before I get their opinion on this case. I did this out of fear that he might withdraw the money in time.
Of course, if I am asked to cancel the paypal dispute, I will respect the decision.

I would like to stress that the account was not banned for any malicious actions I took on the account, I only logged in once.
Moreover, all indications are that it would have been possible to have the account unbanned if the seller had cooperated.
I know and have accepted the risk that exists when purchasing a Battle Net account, but this is clearly a case of scamming.

My friend, I won't respond to your unfounded accusations anymore, I think it's better to wait for the response from the EpicNPC administrators, things could have been so much easier.

Just cause this dude is writing all long fancy messages is pathetic. He bought the account, got it banned the next day, then takes his money back like its my issue when its not. I've involved an attorney as this it theft., I have no account credentials as he has not provided them. So he now took his money before giving credentials back. Ban this dude please

Account still not unbanned and user is trying trying to get his money back. Negative feedback should not be taken off cause he took no less than 24 hours to take his money back. Seems like a scam to me
 
I made a chargeback so that I could freeze the funds pending a decision from epicnpc, if they want me to cancel the chargeback I will of course.
To imply that I am a scammer just for that reason is very poorly argued.

Now, I still think there are some disturbing charges about you:
-the account that was recalled more than once, without you telling me during the sale.
-your first PayPal that is blocked
-the character that is exactly the same as the one you sold 3 months before. And the fact that you lied about it saying it's multiboxing shows that there's something unclear behind it.
-The fact that you don't help your customers at all a few days after the sale when you had the opportunity to help, that alone is borderline scam.

It was recalled once to fix a name change which I mentioned.
The first account is my paypal that I did not link my bank to yet
And wrong this is a separate account
Ive sold multiple accounts of a warlock that I MBd as I ran a guild and was able to gear the way I needed to

I said id help but I have more things to worry about than an account you got banned for your own issues. - What are you 15 years old? I'm done with this conversation. Stick with your negative feedback cause all you do is argue like a child.

why would I refund him when he got the account banned? I dont understand how that would work. I sold him the account and "HE" got it banned the next day trying to log in and change stuff.

I offered to help when I got out of work which he did not understand. I can refund a partial amount, but that would be it.

That is like going to the store, buying something, breaking it, then going back to return it. 99 Percent of stores done accept Opened Broken Product if you do that. So unfortunate. Why would I work with this guy
 
@Angel As we can see on this screenshot, the seller has managed to get his account back since the 23/04, and since we could not log in the account because it was banned, he has probably managed to get it unbanned. This person is just a scammer, lying since the beginning about everything : he has recalled his account few times, the account he sold me is the same than 2 months ago, and now he has made it unbanned. He just tries to keep the money.

No one is trying to keep anything

This account was banned permanently. But you can think whatever you need to think. You made this happen. I offered to partially refund you and you are still going on and on. You are lucky I am even working with that. You bought an account, made a mistake, and now you are trying to cover it up. You are a terrible account sales user and deserve to have your account revoked so you can no longer be on this website. Listen to how you are defending yourself. Please get rid of this user. He can accept a partial refund, or I will continue to fight PayPal and will most likely win the case anyway since I have all the proof since it was a digital good.

The account was never recalled for being sold so "No" I did not mention that. I had the account recalled to name change a mistake in my last name.

Those are the only archived tickets on the account.

The only active ticket was the one I previously posted

Never was this account owned by any other person except my self.

- Account has been used for 3 days before has been closed as compromised
- Game master: My problem here is, that we have recovered account before, more than once.

Here is a clear statement that account has been recovered more than once, while original owner started that was only once.


@Spazman failed to inform buyer about the previous recall which is Full account disclosure rule violation: The seller must state to the buyer before payment whether or not the account has ever been recalled, hacked, stolen or has received violation warnings. For some games, the seller must also disclose whether or not any payment transactions (buying in-game items) have occurred on the account.

I am not willing to go deeper into why the account is banned as can be the result of previous recalls or a new attempt.

@Spazman a full refund must be issued or you will be banned. This is a final decision

Ban me lol. It was the last account I needed to sell. I have already started file reports against this user legally for theft of virtual goods. So fine by me.

The GM can say what they want, this account has never been recovered and there is a always a ticket to show

Your poor accusations are hilarious. Anyway good day to you guys. Ill see my self out with your immature decisions.
