Describe the problem:

I bought a fortnite account from GamingNation (Playtopia) on November 2nd 2023. When I received the account, he told me to change the details of the account and I did. After I noticed there was an XBOX linked to the account, I asked him if I could unlink it and if I would keep the progress. He said he wasn't sure, but if I did it was my responsibility. So of course, I didn't unlink it because I didn't want to risk losing my money and the account. After playing on the account, I noticed I kept being kicked out with the message ''Login expired or logged in somewhere else'', this was odd to me so I sent him a text saying someone was playing on the account and I assumed it was because of the XBOX linked to it. I texted him about it, and after arguing for 2 hours there was no solution. So I thought, **** it let's just unlink it if I lose everything it's better than having someone else use the account simultanously. Everything seemed fine until today, I noticed that when logging in Epic said there was no account with my email address. I also got an email that XBOX was linked back to the account which was odd because I didn't do that.

The seller provided me with the OG email to the account, but he told me to use the Thunderbird app to log in to the email, and through thunderbird it's impossible to change the password of the email meaning I would never be safe. Today, the OG owner logged into the email and recovered it and now I'm left with no account and no money.

On the account I purchased 27.000 vbucks too, which are gone now too because the account got recovered.

Horrible experience with this buyer. Purchased a Fortnite account and I provided it with OG EMAIL.

They threatened me with disputes and a chargeback.

BE CAREFUL WHEN TRADING WITH HIM

The buyer received a Fortnite account and the OG email of the account. They confirmed that they were able to change the details of the account + they changed the Fortnite account email to their own.

Around a week later they approached me claiming that “someone else is on the account”. I advised that if it is not one of their friends, they can remove all linked profiles from the account. They were worries that they might lose the progress of the account, but once they unlinked everything nothing was lost.

Today, they approached me saying that the account email has been changed - I advised them that the OG email has been provided to them from day one, but they said that there are “3 other ways to recover an account”.

As a goodwill gesture, I offered the buyer another account, because they threatened me with a Chargeback. They paid me via Bank Transfer and threatened to dispute the payment. While I was showing the buyer accounts that I can provide they kept on threatening me with a dispute. After multiple threats, I just told them “You can raise a dispute if you’d like. I don’t appreciate being threatened.” So here we are in this thread.

You also pointed out that it said ''Progress will be reset'' on all those boxes, so that it was my risk.

An epic account can be recovered with OG Email, Proof of purchases and IP-Addresses when creating the account, old linked accounts of the account; All of these except the OG email I didn't know/had access too (I lost the og email too because the password of that was changed too)

A lot of the things you're saying are just false or misses a lot of information. Also to add you left a negative feedback in which you are simply lying

You threatened with a Payment dispute before I even offered to give you a second account. (This can be seen in our chat in Discord - I am attaching a video of our whole conversation as proof).

At the time of me leaving the feedback for you - you had access to the OG email. In our chat, you can see how you confirm that the password set on the OG email was your own password.

Following on this, I sent you a screenshot at 11:04 PM that the email password was being changed (the recovery emails), you left the feedback at 11:56 PM

You are right about the timing, however you confirmed yourself that the password on the email was your own password, so you could have just changed it. I have edited my review.
 
I have never confirmed that the password from the email was changed to my own, as stated in our dms and I said multiple times. The password I changed it to was only the ''remember password'' stored locally on my computer, as shown in the screenshot of the email.

I asked for assistance on how to change the password, and you tell me: i dont know, maybe at the 3 dots??
