The warlock is a great class for solo farming any giants and any demons - notably frostmaul giants, dire maul east, maraudon, darkwhisper gorge and the blasted lands.
It's an overall fun class full of tricks, it's most notable one is being able to enslave demons. People love your shadowbolt in raids and world bosses, love your superior summons/portals over the Mage's and love your plethora of support abilities.
The warlock is full of crippling effects such as; banish, charm, fear and his infernal pet kills anyone in pvp and can make farming all the more satisfying.
The warlock has a build called leech tanking which restores your health quickly and thus can maintain your mana through life tap, this talent build is extremely fun due to no downtime to eat and drink. It restores 40% of your total HP every 30 seconds.
