I have been doing this type of transaction for years and thanks to this I have learned to recognize scammers. Often not all people who will contact you are honest. For this reason, I want to help you protect from them, explaining the most used techniques to deruvate you:
-2fa scam: the scammer will offer you an exaggeratedly high amount to convince you. Then he will advise you to add 2fa protection and ask you for credentials before payment, saying he can't do anything. This is a lie, so don't do it.
-When they sell an account at a very affordable price, beware. Nobody gives you anything.
-Often the scammers will be in a hurry and put pressure on you to move forward with the transaction
-Check that the user who contacted you (perhaps on external social networks such as Discord) is registered on epicnpc, ask for the username and ask to send you a message on the site
-Check his feedback. Often a person with a lot of feedback is not synonymous with honesty. Check that their feedback is real.
-Often the accounts they sell are stolen. Check that they are not before purchasing them. Ask for a screenshot of the billing and payment methods. Check that there are no linked credit cards and check that there have been no suspicious transactions recently
