Youtube Channel Scam

Hello,
I just paid for someone here to buy his youtube channel, but he didn't send me the correct password. He kept talking about fixing this and he will refund the payment, but I need to wait couple of days. Anyway, I submitted a request for a refund on PayPal.

Is PayPal going to refund me the money? if yes, what's the point why they do these scams, or is it something more serious than this, as he kept asking me about my address.

I really need to understand!

Please fill Dispute Form, add as much information as you can, add all the proofs(PayPal Transaction Details, Skype Conversation etc.) you have (Add images).

If you paid with Goods and Services, Paypal should refund the money.

Always ask the seller to verify they own the Youtube channel. This can be done easily by asking them to change something on the "About" page. If they refuse, they don't own the account.
