basically I gave him the info to my account and he went afk for 20 minutes to 'send the money' to my paypal, came back, said people came over, then asked for my paypal again and said 'okay sent' and went afk for '5 minutes' which has turned into 45 minutes. btw, still no money on my paypal.

Never ever give your account details before you have payment. It's stated everywhere on paypal and on the internetz! Either use a middleman or let him send the money first and let the money be cleared by paypal THEN you give your account details.

yeah I understand, to be honest with you though I've been scammed either way. recalling money on paypal even after giving my details is still a huge issue so to me it didn't matter that much anyways. just glad I've got CD keys and photo ID to recall. just a big [censored] waste of time though =[
