x-fer'ing characters over accounts

I was reading over the restrictions and it mentioned you must be owner of both accounts to perform an x-fer. We know blizzard likes to verify accounts every now and then so my question, is this able to be done safely? Sending to an account with completely different contact information seems a little odd to me, I'm sure it would to them as well. Is this not recommended or is there a trick I am unaware of. If information is too sensitive to post for whatever reason a PM will suffice.

As long as it has the same name your good to go. You can call in and change the info if you want.

Blizzard has the right to check anything they want. But it's on a very rare occasion. it's not odd for different contact informations because some people might have moved.
