WU vs Paypal gift question.

I am selling an account & the guy said he'd pay via WU if it's mandatory but he was wondering if he can just gift me the $ via Paypal (save authentication stuff via WU as he's Ausie + fees). If he's verified am I golden 2 sell him the account if I receive a gift just as if it were WU?

Security wise w.u is your best option, now paypal is much more practical, if hes PP verified with a verified shipping adress then its a good sign of legitimacy, make sure to call him and you should be secure.
