Im trading my level 80 Undead Mage who has FULL Relentless Offpieces including the new battlemasters, that saves you 300-400kish honor grinding. In his PVE gear he pulls out 5k DPS in a 25 man raid, and his PVP gear he has 2400 Spellpower, 530 Haste and 500 Resilience. This mage is built for PVP and is easily able to obtain a gladiator+ rating with his current PVP gear.
