The GW/GW:Factions account is worth over 120 dollars alone since I had to pay the 60 dollars for both Guild Wars and Guild Wars: Factions. Let alone the various high level characters. On the account there are:
20 Elementalist / Mesmer
15 Ranger / Monk
14 Assassin / Ranger
14 Warrior / Monk
13 Ranger / Mesmer
(For those of you new to guildwars the max level is 20, though you progress more slowly than in wow, so getting max level takes about as much time as getting 1-60 in wow, perhaps not quite as much.)
All have decent gear and are ready for missions or quests. I havent played it in over a year and I was sitting around thinking about how I could get a wow account without all the work when suddenly I remembered this blast from the past so to speak
. I downloaded the client and signed in, checking all the characters and my password to make sure it all works (sweeping the cobwebs out of my brain).
Whats great about GuildWars is that there's no monthly fee, so you could litteraly take this information right now, go download the game (the download is genius, they give you the bare minimum files so it takes all of like 7 minutes, and then when you get in game you download the files for each area you visit, that way the download isnt all crammed into a huge 5 hour download, its spread out and much more tolerable), and sign in. No credit card, no monthly fee, no charge to you at all. This is the perfect opportunity to get into guild wars if you've been wanting to try it out because this account has Guild Wars (original), Guild Wars: Factions, and is ready for Guild Wars: Nightfall, the latest expansion, for those that decide to play, and with so many mid level characters and a max, you can experience all aspects of the game, make a new character and get a feel for it, try out the later game content on one of the level 14's, or try the end game missions and world famous pvp on the level 20. No buying the game, just a quick download!
