Breakdown as to why I am selling my account with list of all account items towards the bottom...
Long story short I was hit by a car a little more than a year ago.. the recovery has been heavy but consistent.. most of my injuries included severe head trauma and neck and lower lumber injuries with multiple breaks and subluxiations in both my hands.
The other party is declared 100% at fault but the case is dragging its feet and I sold as much of my stuff as I could and already burned through all my savings to try and support myself. Lost my home and have been couch surfing since. Was recently told the case would be closing soon so I took out a loan to grab a small apartment to hold me over... now the disposition and suit may take up to another year before I start to receive my settlement.
In the meantime, I begged CIG for over a year to help me.. I begged them in the most humbling and sometimes in the most humiliating of ways to refund me as much of my money as they could afford to simply to help feed me or put a roof over my head for the night or week or month (depending on how much it was).. they literally never gave me any updates or new information for approximately 13 straight months.. just kept responding "each matter is unique and takes time so please by patient while our team finishes other cases so they may work on yours".. I even sent them pictures of all my injuries (excluding the worst but that is only because it was my whole lower abdominals and pelvic region (including genitals unfortunately)) but I included x-rays of my back and neck as well as fresh pictures of my hands and all the flesh that was bruised and/or missing from my bones and muscles of my shins and knees.
I will take full blame for making the stupid, childlike mistake of, with my personal loan to get my new, humble, small, but cozy little studio, I spent a couple hundred on upgrading 2 ships.. and not even two weeks later my lawyer calls to say they received approval to investigate the other party's bank account and finances to push for more money... greeeaaat (sarcasm).. I would much rather have a little money now to help me live so I can rebuild than a lot of money later that I may possibly be too broken or wrecked to enjoy anyways.
I have followed up with CIG to ask them (again) to help me.. and that was approximately 3-4 days ago with no response. Before, I kept promising them that once I receive my settlement I had every intention of coming back to the community I love so much and invest more money than I ever have into simply because I believe in the ethos at the center of everything CIG and RSI related... but now, with everything being so heavy.. I clearly need to rethink and reevaluate my life.
If someone is gracious enough to purchase my account, I would honestly just disappear from Star Citizen and more than likely not come back simply because this community, no matter how amazing, doesn't seem to be an appropriate fit for me and I am starting to feel as if I am toxic for the community simply because I am asking for the founders and creators of the community to help me when I helped them by simply reimbursing me the best of what they could afford since I gave them more than I had back when I had everything and believed that this community exuded the best of the virtues that I cherish.
Please understand that life has been very challenging for me lately so if you feel the need to attack me negatively, I would wholeheartedly appreciate it if you simply didn't.. I would greatly appreciate honest opinions and perspectives because right now mine are so heavily skewed trying to harmonize the logic of a business perspective with the rationality of humanity and empathy.

Forgot to mention that I have been pushing very hard for disability and despite all the different specialists' evaluations of my conditions (neurologist, chiropractor, urologist, orthopedist) I was denied for disability due to my age (at the time was 31, now 32).. but I still am in too much pain to work and doctors won't release me for work yet until I finish undergoing more treatments and therapy.
So.. I would like to look into how advertising my account can hopefully help me with my life; I have no set price and am willing to jump on the first price that will actually help me. So please don't feel like your offers are potentially discouraging.. I am entertaining all offers.
