Back up for sale ( original post ) : one of the best geared, best itemized raid-heal emphasis (haste stacking) Resto Shamans in game right now. My asking price is down to $850, in light of ICC's release. For $850, you don't get all the miscellaneous doo-dads available to the entire level 80 population, but you do get the highest quality gear ToGC gear in the game available only to players who have been clearing ToGC 25 since release and have dedicated 40+ hrs/week to raiding and raiding preparation for months. No half-assed, poorly itemized crap: only the absolute best. If you are looking for any additional information such as offspec gearsets or additional screenshots, feel free to ask.

That said, the account includes 3 80s, the main of which is the resto/enhance shaman, secondary alt is a holy/prot pally, and third alt is an arms/prot warrior, which will be described in order.

I frequently switch in/out heroic Darkspear Ritual Binding, 245 Circle of the Darkmender, and Tier 9.25 Resto gloves for 2-pc T9 bonus.

-Tank healing pieces (crit/mp5 emphasis- ungemmed, all Algalon 25 (ilvl 239) or better quality)

-Titles: Death's Demise, Starcaller, Astral Walker, Senior Sergeant, of the Nightfall, Twilight Vanquisher

-450 JC with recipes pertinent to the shaman main, including some epic PvP cuts. 404 Inscription for the stat bonus.

- Very close to full best in slot gear, with 3,000 wowheroes GearScore (capable of reaching >3,000) or up to 5574 addon GearScore (average item level 250, haste maxing GS 5524), 258 Tier chestpiece, H. 10-man Trial of the Crusader Tribute to Insanity cloak, and 258: trinket, pants, shield, ring, and gloves.

-1281 Haste Rating, which means 1.0 second GCD, 1.0 second Lesser Healing Wave (down from 1.5), and 1.68 second Chain Heal (down from 2.5!), raid buffed, while maintaining excellent mp5, crit, intellect, and spellpower. You won't find this kind of stat distribution anywhere else. No stat is compromised for the sake of haste, even though the haste is very high.

-All Ulduar and ToGC hardmodes down. Pre-nerf 10-man Hardmode Flame Leviathan (one of the most difficult encounters of its time).

-Full Tier 8 Resto and Enhance sets. 4-piece Elemental Tier 8.

-Assortment of miscellaneous vanity items: springtime egg basket, Direbrew's Remote, Barov Peasant Caller, etc.

-Shaman has original pre-Burning Crusade gear, with two Zul'Gurub class items (chestpiece/bracers), two Earthfury pieces (tier 1, belt/shoulders), original Ten Storms helmet (tier 2), High Warlord's Spellblade, High Warlord's pants (note: Shaman is Senior Sergeant, not HWL), Natural Alignment Crystal (Blackwing Lair shaman class trinket), Onyxia Scale Cloak, Onyxia attunement necklace.

-About the character: this shaman has been resto since its inception and her gearing/spec are the product of countless hours of theorycrafting, participation on forum boards, and years of practice. She's very fun to play; healing on a resto shaman is really empowering, you have a few, really powerful tools at your disposal to support your raid group, and the fun of cool Riptide "combos" and Chain Heal numbers filling your screen. Resto is versatile enough to tank heal, raid heal, or support both with a hybrid playstyle. It's easy to play, but the difference between good and great is big enough that practice over time will reward you with improved performance. After nearly 3 years of playing this character, I am genuinely not tired of it; and Shamans are even slated to improve. Developers have already announced numerous buffs for resto in the near and distant future.

Regarding the account itself and payment:

Since the last sale posting, the account was scammed, because I received misinformation regarding gift payments through paypal. In short, I let my guard down. The price has been adjusted down in light of ICC's release, but also to acknowledge the fact that it now has a blip in an otherwise perfect ownership history.

This is not to say the account isn't secure. Everything has been reset since the event, and thankfully all of the characters are intact. The perpetrator really only used my warrior to farm herbs (go figure), all auctions of which ended while the account was returned to my possession, making the warrior about 5k richer.

To the buyer, I will be able to provide all necessary account information including CD keys and secret questions. This account is merged onto a battlenet account. I have changed the email on the battlenet account to a neutral gmail which I will provide the buyer. This battlenet account is also linked to another inactive account with a 62 shaman disenchanter alt, which comes free with the main account.

Keep in mind, the pally itself is Icecrown ready and worth a fair amount, and could be split from the main account and sold on its own.

In light of being scammed, my transaction standards are back up to where they were. I may not have a long history with markeedragon, but that's because I've always been a one-account player, and have invested all of my time into this account. I've never had a need to buy or sell, so I've never developed a reputation on any trading sites. That said, I propose the following transaction strategy:

- A virtual contractual agreement will be signed by both parties and exchanged by email. This will be a legally binding contract with buyer's and seller's virtual signature confirming the exchange.
- Notarized ID photocopies with contact information will be exchanged by physical mail and email (scanned versions to expedite the process.)
- Payment will be sent by the seller first. I will only accept payment in the form of a cashier's check so that I can verify its credibility against the issuing bank's ledger. This is non-negotiable, I don't want to get scammed again, and Paypal is far too risky for the seller. I am also open to a local sale, in which case I'd accept cash.
- Upon receipt of payment, account information will be provided by email and boxed copies of the game (original CDs) as well as hard copies of the account information will be sent by mail, if buyer desires.

Remember: If you are not willing to send payment first via a cashier's check, please don't waste my time. I understand it's hard to extend your trust to someone who has zero reputation with markeedragon, but I am not interested in losing the account again. Having no reputation doesn't mean I should jeopardize my security, especially when I am only interested in a clean sale. Offering notarized ID and signing an agreement before payment should be a clear indication of my integrity.

Lastly: POST BEFORE CONTACTING- IM me with the thread linked, so I can immediately refer to your post. If your AIM doesn't match the name on your signature/post letter-for-letter, I will not respond.

Re: WTS Resto Shaman: Avg ilvl 250, Death's Demise, Astral Walker, 1280 has

That's true about the price, hence why it's negotiable for the right buyer (particularly someone buying for personal use), a friend of mine who quit with the same gear level recently sold for $950, too. There are still some people willing to pay what an account's worth.
Given the time investment and the fact that this shaman actually IS extremely well geared (as opposed to some of the people who advertise "legendary," "godly" gear but are actually wearing [censored] itemized 219-245 ilvl crap with crit/mp5 who have no idea what they were doing, and just have the loot Blizz handed to them, instead of taking the time to research
wink.gif
).

Anyway though...I do have a variety of gear sets, variety of geared 80 toons, high achievements, and hard to obtain titles as well =)

Shammy also has full tier 8 elemental, scale of fates, and a few other ele pieces.

bump!

Re: WTS Resto Shaman: Avg ilvl 250, Death's Demise, Astral Walker, 1280 has

But it's Overall a Nice character

Re: WTS Resto Shaman: Avg ilvl 250, Death's Demise, Astral Walker, 1280 has

Considering Most Geared Characters Now sell for $400-750

It all Depends on the Qualities you have on the Character

Such as Rare Mounts/Multiple 80's/Variety of Gear Sets/ High Achievements/also hard to obtain titles

I asked her to just tag my account on with hers for sale because I'm lazy but she wouldn't do it.

yeah, we're boyfriend and girlfriend, and we are quitting WoW together. He borrowed my format

I'm not sure how to amend my original post, but speaking of which, he convinced me to be open to negotiation with regard to high rep buyers. I'd be happy to discuss payment options or negotiate price with a veteran buyer, otherwise payment format stands.

1. I had several interested parties when I was asking for $1,000. $850 is an excellent price considering the time invested and the gear quality.
2. I would purchase from a seller without rep if they agreed to exchange notarized ID copies to ensure identity first. That's an excellent way to protect both parties.
3. Thanks for your essay through AIM/poor punctuation and grammar, but I have already stated I'm not accepting PayPal, and the probability of getting scammed through a cashier's check is slim to nil. Unless someone really wants to make a bank account in a fake name, which is a federal crime, or bribe a notary to sign off on a fake ID, I'm safe, and my buyer is safe. If they have a notarized copy of my ID and my account info once I receive payment, they can recall the account from me through the greatest level of security Blizzard offers.

Thanks for your time and your warning that I "will be regret," but I'll sell the account safely and maturely, or not at all.

1,no one will buy it for $850
2,you have 0 postive just 5 posts ,new to MD,no one will agree to your agreement .especially repped buyers. you have to agree to the repped buyer's agreement.
3,no one will send you money first, but scammers will send you money first.

if you just want money first i'd like to tell you ,stop selling now,you will be regret, hope to see that you got scammed then i will be happy!
