Im going to sell my mage at lvl80 he got only 15 days played and he was one of my alts, even with that low time played he got not bad equipment.
In Pve im playing as arcane in that spec i got 2768 sp unbuffed +32% crit + 761 haste.With raid buffs sp going up to 3.2k sp and crit around 45%, So it will be easy for u to find pve guild.
In PvP spec i have 2,7k sp 21,5k hp 750 resi and 530 haste with is enough to play rmp to get atleast 2k rating but u need to have good team players.
