CUSTOMER REVIEWS/QUESTIONS

Transaction canceled due to repeated payment structure changes and waiver request.

We agreed on $110 USD. I initially sent $110 USD via Goods & Services after the middleman advised to use GS if F&F was not explicitly requested. Seller refunded the payment and requested that I cover fees so he would net exactly $110 USD.

I obliged, despite this not being our initial agreement. I then sent $110 USD via Friends & Family. Seller stated PayPal deducted additional fees on his end due to currency conversion, resulting in him receiving approximately $105 USD. He refunded again and requested exactly $110 USD received.

I was willing to send $110 plus additional funds to cover the fee so he would net the full $110. However, both his PayPal and his wife’s PayPal accounts became flagged for suspicious activity during the repeated refunds.

I ultimately proceeded via Goods & Services to maintain protection. Seller then requested that I include a statement in the PayPal notes waiving my ability to request a refund. I was not willing to weaken my PayPal protections in a digital account transaction, especially since the middleman does not insure funds if the account is later recovered.

Had the seller been someone who has sold before on EpicNPC with an older account age and multiple reviews, I would have no issue adding that statement. However, I have personally been scammed by new accounts with no ratings before, so I must be cautious.

No funds were lost. Transaction was ended.

Buyers should clearly establish payment method, fee coverage, and protection terms in advance, particularly when dealing with a new seller without feedback.
