This is a special week in the Mines of Moria Beta; the Beta servers will be closed in preparation for a major testing event on the evening of Friday, September 26 at 6:00 PM Eastern. However, to answer your question, the key lasts until MoM is released...and most likely beneficial for future beta access. Maybe even makes you a candidate for Isengard server. Not 100% on that last one.
