This Gladiator paladin has 4/5 S4 Gear with the S4 Sword.
Retribution paladins are going to be the strongest 1v1 class as of next patch (3.0), playing a Ret Pally is the most fun I’ve had in this game for a long time, the DPS is very gear based and as you can see, you are getting the best possible. With wings + trinket you can literally take 8.5K hp in one swing pending crits. You will be a monster with 413 Resil with this gear setup and I promise you, you will enjoy it. All my retribution gear is gemmed with epic gems and every piece has the best possible enchants/slot.
The healing set I use includes 2-piece pvp gear (helm+shoulders) for the 35 resil bonus and 2-pieceTier 6(Gloves + Leggings) gear for the 5% extra crit. When specced holy, the paladin has over 2000 Healing while maintaing 322 Resil. The healing gear is gemmed with all +heal and mana/5 gems alongside a superior chest piece from ZA, again with all the best possible enchants/slot, rings included. My paladin also has the <span style="font-weight: bold">epic PvP trinket</span> with 45 resil on it.
Please note, my paladin has FULL honor gear (rings, boots, belt, bracers, neck) for both Ret and Healing Sets.
