The Death Knight has 2 full epic sets of gear from Naxx25 and OS25. The tanking gear is full tier pieces, 3/5 T7.5 2/5 T7, with defense cap, 29k unbuffed health, 23 percent dodge, 33 percent parry. Over half a dozen other assorted tanking epics.
The DPS gear includes full Naxx 25 non tier drops as well as 2 T7 pieces if you choose to use them. Naxx25 2hander weapon. Epic 1handers, as well as the OS25 AP trinket.
The DK comes with some resilience gear for those interested in PvP. 2 pieces of deadly gladiator's (the leggings and gloves).
