This lock would be perfect for anyone who likes to pvp but doesn't want to be a completely gimped raider, or someone who wants a good character to start raiding t5 content but also likes to have some fun in battlegrounds and arenas. Additionally, it is on a PvP server and its paid character transfer is ready to use.
Pvp stats (only self buffed with fel armor and a felhound out for demonic knowledge, using a pretty basic siphon life/soul link talent build):
14052 hp
1228 +spell damage
28 spell hit
48 spell penetration
72 spell haste
461 resilience
20,000 unspent honor points, about 40 of each battleground mark of honor, around 1000 unused arena points
The gear includes:
Brutal gladiator's dreadweave (season 4) head, legs, chest, offhand book
Vengeful gladiator's dreadweave (season 3) gloves and wand
Merciless gladiator's dreadweave (season 2) shoulders, mainhand dagger
Guardian (season 4 honor gear) neck (haste one), bracers, belt, boots, ring
Vindicator (season 3 honor gear) ring
epic pvp haste cloak
blue pvp trinket (the 20 resil one)
47dmg battlemaster's trinket
epic gems in almost all slots, all gear is nearly optimally enchanted (I cheaped out and enchanted the mainhand with +40 damage instead of soulfrost)
The head and boots required a 1700 arena rating, while the ring required 1650 and the chest 1600, so this character has some gear that isn't easy to come by for most casual players. It also has the the title of Rival, which was awarded to characters on arena teams which ranked in the top 10% of the battlegroup at the end of season 3. With the proper team composition this character can be competitive in the 1700s, 1800s and higher in 2s, 3s or even 5s. With a few small exceptions (the gloves and wand, but the difference between s3 and s4 versions is fairly small) this gear is the best you can get until reaching 1850 rating to upgrade the weapon.
Pve stats (self buffed with fel armor, using a cookie cutter 0/21/40 raiding build):
9579 hp
1132 +spell damage
201 spell hit (virtually hit capped for raid bosses, leaving just the base 1% chance to be resisted)
26.06% spell critical rate with destruction spells
25 spell haste
The gear includes:
tier 4 shoulders and gloves
ZA haste cloak
hood of hexing
ZA staff
heroic magister's terrace trinket (timbal's focusing crystal)
heroic badge chest, belt, legs, boots (335 badges spent on these in total)
Mostly blue quality gems and optimal enchants on all gear
Also comes with a full fire resist gear set for warlock tanking of leotharas the blind's demon form in Serpentshine Cavern
While the pve gear isnt as impressive as the pvp gear, it certainly gets the job done. I've done full clears of Kara, ZA and SSC, along with some parts of TK. The gear is certainly good enough to contribute to any guild doing t5 and starting t6/sunwell content. Expect to consistently get 900-1200dps in raiding situations, depending on the class makeup of the raid. In most situations I was always one of the top 2 or 3 players on the damage charts, usually competing with my guild's top mage and rogue. In fact, much of the time the only limit to the the damage this character can do is having to take a break for a few seconds in order to avoid pulling aggro from the tank. The spell damage and haste are a bit underwhelming due to the fact that, unlike other casters, warlocks are given absolutely zero talents that reduce the chance for destruction spells to be resisted (this is changing in the expansion), so I had to allocate most of my gem slots and heroic badges to bringing my spell hit to very near the cap of 202.
Other random info:
Male Orc
about 200 gold (yeah, I'm poor, but gold is easy to come by now with those isle dailies)
lots of random pve and old pvp epic items in the bank
epic warlock ground mount, regular flying mount
375 mining, 375 shadoweave tailoring
Keyed for all heroics
lvl 33 tauren druid alt
