all it takes is some groups of friends to come back and it can be revitalized, it still has so much to offer

I've left several times, played other games, but I always end up playing AO again. None of the other games keep my attention.

so true, AO has a very unique appeal, really nothing out there like it
it is one of those game if you just look at a screen shot you have no idea what your actually missing despite the state of the game now i would not give up on it

I played this game when it first came out, it seems like such a long time ago!

I am around for more than 10 years. Low population but still one of the best games there is.
And as somebody stated already, most people can't simply quit. Most come back later!
