WoW Account Scammed

I tried selling my account last night and got scammed, I have the cd key and a picture of the full aim conversation. He got my email and also I thought it was really wierd he only asked for my account name, first and last name and SQ&A. Is there any way i can get back at him? Not really, unless you have his phone number ect.

I have his phone number and name, I don't think reporting it to the FBI or whatever will help though.

Did you get the account back? If the scammer knows your email to your WoW account, make sure you change the email. It's just another step to prevent him from contacting the account, attempting to hack, steal, cause trouble for you through Blizzard, etc.

Not to the FBI, but reporting to the local police department might get you somewhere. Especially if you have proof.
