The gear will be useless in 1 Month and nobody cares what titles you have except for the 2 seconds that they see you pass by

Why not just buy a cheap 85 for the class you want and save leveling time????

Then gear it for free while having fun in the new content

 

Some of us make good money and can afford to spend a lot on stupid hobbies.

Same reason why people spend a fortune on wine, it may only be for an hour but its a hobby. I personally love playing wow, as such I have a big budget for it, most of the money I spend on a 1k+ account isnt personal money but rather profits from the business.

 

I agree 100%. but what may seem expensive to you may be cheap to others. especially when there is a market for it. this is capitalism.
