why is no one willing to do trades? it seems odd.

I have no bad rep, im fairly new to the website, and RMTing (i've rmted once in world of warcraft and twice in POE) i've had 2-3 threads up for weeks with 100's and 100's of views with reasonable prices but no one will even attempt to do a trade with me why?

I've had a few members connect me but it seems they're not even willing to go 1st...or sometimes even trade after contacting me!

Any help would be great as i have 200+ dollars sitting on POE i honestly don't need.

A few tips I can offer for you are:

1. Make your thread stand out. The title is what will make someone decide to click on it.
2. Post content. Make your initial post clean and to the point. Color code sections and underline/bold important details. Make it look nice and professional.
3. While it's true it's harder for new members to start out, consider upgrading your account to Epic Member or Epic Verified status. It requires an investment from your side, but in return it can give some reassurance to other members (Especially Epic Verfified). The perks that come with the memberships aren't bad either :)
4. Be patient, wait for the right offer. An offer to good to be true most likely is. When in doubt, ask a mod.
 
also offer to user a verified middleman on this site.
 
Just to add: Having an actual price (Or "asking price) listed really helps.
