<span style="font-size: 11pt">Well, I have spoken to toemic and bones on aim about a character I have in my possession.

It was given to me by a friend of mine who traded it some time ago last year. Unfortunately, being the noob that he is, he got neither the email or full name on the account. He has had the account ever since and it has not been recalled once, so I have reason to believe that it won't be, but how do I get the information to it? I looked at the transfer history of the character and where it came from, I have just made a post on that realm forum to see if anyone is in contact with the OO anymore. If I can get the info, even by paying him to reveal it, I think that would be a good find.

The warrior is t6 BT geared with an epic mount. Its not a bad toon, even If I can't get the info for it, I guess I will either let it rot or I will sell it dirt cheap under the guarantee that there would be no information or insurance on the account and that It might at some stage be recalled, even though I think it wont.

Any suggestions on other methods I could take? Here is the armory anyway, you can see why I want to keep it.

Maybe try searching using his aliases for a myspace/facebook etc...
If you haven't changed the address on the account then you'll have the zip code and area code, you could try looking through phone listings for his area. Tonyrobinz recently had some success using a lookup that only requires 2 letters of last name, since you have the first letter theres only 26 names to lookup.

i suggested that... the address was changed. maybe try the username alias in google and hope for something such as a facebook, myspace or other social network sites or otherwise to dig it up?

Yeah, no address unfortunately as my friend changed it to his.
I guess I am having to just sell it dirt cheap on the basis it has no email or name, alternatively, if someone would do some investigating and find the info, I would then sell the account and split the proceeds with them 50/50. That I guess is a ridiculous long shot though.

So this is turning out to be a story. I have manged to catch up with his old realm and spoken to some old players who remember him from the days of his warrior. Turns out they all knew he sold the warrior and he rolled a pally. Apparently he has also now quit the game and left his pally with is a full season 3 retadin with a gladiator title to rot basically. Last log in was May of this year. I want to speak to this OO, not only so I can get the details of this account but so I can entice him into selling me the pally also. We will see. The search in the case of the gnome warrior continues...

Ended up finding this guy, he's a jerk tho. He thinks because he is in one of the top 10 US guilds in WOW that he can be rude and obnoxious. I might have some people attempt to get it out of them seeing as he sold it to a friend a while back and should of given his name and email then. I tried the polite way but some people don't respect that.

Try this, i always use it when i buy/sell/trade to see if the names match with the address.
http://whitepages.org/

WHere it says people search, click on advanced search. THen type in the full first name, and then tick *Begins With* for last name, and put the first letter of the last name that it shows on the WoW account management.
Then click search.
If your lucky and there is only one search result then wallah, thats the accounts full name.

Dont know how to help you with the SQ/A though.

I know how to get the last name of an account. After that all you need is to xfer it to a new one, yeah?

AIM me or PM me I guess if you want to know. You will have to spend 20 bucks and wait until the next billing cycle to do it, though.

Edit: Actually nevermind, it would require you to have access to the email on the account =\.
