depends on what style your looking for but i enjoy the battle royal games, fornite being my favorite in that category. Overwatch is a fun game to mess around on. My favorite FPS shooter ever though was CoD: MW2 that game was amazing

It depends in what aspect you are classifying them, but to me 1v1 shooter will always be Quake 3 Arena, it demands exhaustive knowledge of every stage to take advantage of sutile shortcuts, high reflexes.
