What if they get the account banned?

I have a quick question about selling accounts on here. What if I sell the account and the person who buys it gets it banned? If they buy or sell gold and get caught and the account gets closed can they make me give their money back? I am a little worried to try to sell my account because what if they just tell me it is banned and make a claim with paypal? Any advice on this is appreciated.

Usually the account should not be banned if both the seller+buyer are careful. If the account gets banned recently after a trade if it often due to a mistake during the trade and you should probably refund the purchase.

Most of the time they will not recieve a perm ban for trading (if they are caught), blizzard will only issue a lock on the account. This can be lifted by faxing or mailing in proper photo ID.

The most important part of the trading process is to make sure you take all appropriate precautions and only trade with people that you feel you can trust.

If they get it banned themselves (Have them forward an email + take a screen shot of it with your aim in the window.) then it's not your fault and you're not responsible unless you say otherwise.

For paypal, if they file a dispute saying they never received the item then message paypal and tell them it was a intangible object.
