What’s the process for transferring Apple ID and email?

Hey I’m about to buy an account with the Apple ID and Gmail linked. I would be receiving two emails and then the Apple ID with the purchase.

I never transferred Apple IDs, what would be the best process for it to prevent any lock outs?

An Apple ID is permanently tied to the person who created it. However, you can change the email address associated with an existing Apple ID.

1. Get a new email address.
2. Go to your iPhone Settings.
3. Tap your name at the top.
4. Add your new email.
5. Verify it with the code they send you.
6. Your Apple ID is now the new email. All your stuff stays.

I would recomend you to conduct trade with tradeguardian middleman.

Ah what does it mean that it’s tied permanently? And you’re saying to do these steps once I get the new Apple ID?

i'm sorry for the confusion, i though we're talking about moving away your old Apple ID and starting to use a new one, which is requires carefully moving your data and closing out the old one properly to avoid getting lock out
