Took back the account after making a deal

Made a deal for an account he was selling. Seller had some issues transferring the gmail due to issues from his side, so only the recovery email was linked & sign in from my device was authorized. We agreed to complete the transaction next week & I was told I could play the account & change the password ingame. Then 2 days later, he said he’d take back the account unless I’d pay him well above the amount we agreed on. I refused, so he ended up taking back the account. One of my worst experiences with a user on this site, would not recommend.

For clarification: this person NEVER sent me payment, so the transaction was incomplete. I originally set the price below market price as I wanted to quick sell this account. But we ran into an unexpected issue with the gmail, which I initially presumed to resolve in 1-2 days, but it dragged into a whole week. That delay was too long, so I canceled the deal. I did not agree to wait a week just to sell at low price. Without payment, the deal is invalid and the account was never theirs to begin with. There is no such thing as “taking back” something that was never paid for and never under their ownership. I have no obligation to fulfill an unpaid transaction and simply backed off a deal I'm no longer comfortable in. This is nothing but a misleading and petty feedback cause they can't get a deal they want.

It was you who had to delay the transaction & it was you who suggested to leave it until next week. You said you’re fine with receiving the money next week when the account is fully transferred. You simply changed your mind afterwards. If you didn’t want to wait, you should’ve said so from the start. There is nothing petty or misleading about this feedback. You’re just upset that you have to deal with the consequences of your own actions. Mind you that there’s a reason that the feedback was left in the first place. Anyone that wants to see what really happened can just look at the feedback dispute you opened. You’re simply greedy & dishonest.

Don’t be mad that you can’t get a deal to resell for profit. Just move on. Let’s be clear: you don’t own the account. You haven’t paid a single penny and yet you have the audacity to claim ownership? I didn’t “take back” anything from you—you never owned it in the first place. You are in no position to point fingers with accusations of greed or dishonesty.

You already purchased an account from me last month and resold it for around $100 profit without issue. That shows I’ve dealt fairly with you before. Now, when things don’t go your way, this is how you react. When I informed you that I wanted to back off this deal, I was extremely apologetic and said sorry multiple times. Instead of understanding, you responded with anger and threats.

At the end of the day, no money was ever exchanged, so there was no valid transaction. Calling this “taking back" is misleading and unfair. This feedback says more about your frustration than it does about my conduct.
