We had a great turn out this time around, I think the most applications since I've owned the site and lots of good ones. So good infact that we decided on four new mods instead of three as the voting ended up in a tie and we just couldn't decide.

yeah sorry mike i know this is going to sound like a cry baby but having mods that have only been on this site for 1 year doesnt cut it so please close my account ( no offence to the new mods as i dont know them ). look at what happened with Sky but i wish u well and good luck to everyone it was enjoyable while it lasted during the 3-4 years total i have been a part of this site aswell as Markee

Two of the mods have been members for 3+ years, one for 1 1/2 years and only one under a year at 10 months.

I understand a few ppl are upset for not being selected, but none of these members are new here. 10 months is not new anymore and sometimes it's good to bring in someone with a fresher look on the community than to select only long term members, which 2, arguably 3, out of the 4 are anyway.

Let's not forget that even though Sky was banned and relatively new, so was MaskedofDJ who was a member for 4 years and a mod before getting banned. If you don't agree with the decisions the mod team and I made, that's fine, but at the very least, give the new mods a chance to prove themselves.

i completly agree. then again this site is a bunch of horse ****. they make stupid kids moderator's. I honestly have no idea why i even tried to app. But anyhow i dont even give a ****. i rarely use this worthless site anymore. It has been crap since Marcus gave up markeedragon

Grats to the new mods, but im hesitant to say it but there NEEDS to be a age limit put on the mod position. When half the community say who the F are they? or just shakes their head and facepalms leads me to beleive that there was more to the picking then we see. Just my 2 cents, grats to the winners, hope it works out.

All I will say to this is, next time those people can put a lot more effort into their applications and format it nicely. Like how one would do a real application. How one applies and how one performs themselves in the forums is what I look for. Yes new applications I do approach with caution, I'm sure everyone else does.
You're allowed to post your dissatisfaction, but please be respectful in doing so, I'm referring to your last line.

People like you make me laugh. Time spent registered on a website doesn't make you a good candidate for a moderator position. There are tons of people on this site who have been registered for much longer than they have been active, does that make them a better choice for the position?

The people who are angry about not getting selected are trying to ride their join date to a mod position which is hysterical. I'd love to see some of the apps of these people you say are "a whole **** load better" qualified to be mods. I'm going to guess every single one was written in less than 5 minutes, formatted poorly and has 1 sentence answers to all of the questions.

Makes me laugh when you all cry like this everytime. Most of the longer standing names think they can just jump into mod position to get a quick increase in sales (not always the case). Yes its fun to be helpful. but think about when you get selected and then do NOTHING for months then wonder why you get demoted. Mods do ALOT of work for the site that you may not even want to participate in anyways, take it with a grain of salt. There are always future rounds. Gratz to all that made it

You think because you joined two years ago that you know how the system works? What system? The only system on this website is trust based trading system and I'm pretty sure someone who joined a week ago can understand how that works.

Mods represent the website and no website wants a mod who makes himself out to be an ignorant, self important person who types like a five year old. Everyone here complaining, including yourself, can't even write in complete sentences or formulated their thoughts into a decently well typed argument. Those aren't the kinds of people who websites want representing themselves.

I put time and effort into my app and the only people that get picked is a bunch of *** kissers.

I didn't see any of these RP'ers posting before the mod post came up.

This website will go down in flames, just give it time. Veteran members are getting fed up with the crap.

Lesson was never learned from Sky. You don't need a buncha kids that just know how to make long posts and kiss *** to run a website.

You need people like twizz who has been here for a long time and dedicates time on this website everyday.

Your join date is December 2011, you haven't even been here for an entire year yet you think you're a veteran member compared to who was picked? The people who were picked have been here longer than you, and are way more active than you.

It's people like you, who keep trying to use age to make yourself seem better qualified than others, that make me laugh. I can guarantee you even if these new mods are much younger than you, they are more mature and would do a better job. Anyone who tries to use age as a factor in determining how well someone can do a job is a moron.

kooka.. go sell more unwanted over priced accounts.. I'm not butthurt at all lol.. If i was listed with that list of mods, i'd of opted out. A new form of Generation rejects... only 2 people in the new promotions are remotely smart enough or mature enough. But again, get that nose ALL UP IN ASH'S AS$.. im sure he likes the urge to **** feeling, most chomo's do..
