CAUTION - PLEASE CONTINUE READING

Nostalrius will introduce their new account retrieval system in one or two weeks. If you are going to buy or sell a account on Nostalrius I would advise you to proceed with caution as the original owner will be able to retrieve the account in question, and this no matter how safe any seller or reseller claims your transaction to be the risk of getting scammed will increase tremendously. Especially when dealing with resellers as they can never completely be sure of the original owner's intentions.

I also would be careful now buying accs from non rept ppl. Since they all try to get their accs back in the forum, like "I forgot my password, I remember all toons, someone hacked me".

This is a fake,i see what you did here..

What are you talking about? This gamemaster teleported me to the cube while discussing one of the accounts I was selling.
i'm fairly sure that none of the account i have signed up for have required email addresses in the past. I can see that the signup page on the nost site does (now?) require an email. Can someone confirm that this is new? This would mean that some account (newer?) would have associated email addresses and some would not.

The email field on registration has been there since at least the launch of the server.
Thanks Fractional for the news. Keep up the good work.

Even if this is not nice your my angel.. i was just going to buy a account..

No problem, glad I could help! So if you want to buy a level 60 powerleveling is a much safer alternative where you registered the account yourself :)
So sounds like everyone just needs to deal with repped or upgraded members for security

Essentially yes, and people should stay away from re-sellers and instead look for people who are selling their own account. Otherwise you can never be guaranteed
'true' safety of the account. I'm glad the GM was kind enough to share this information.
