So I purchased 10,000 gold from a verified seller, and within the day, i received an ingame mail from blizzard, and a email to my bnet registered email address from [email protected] warning me of the risks and cons of purchasing gold. I believe it was just a warning, as I kept my gold.

Anywho, needless to say, I need more gold, but I obviously don't want to be banned, or have my purchase taken from me by blizzard, or both.

IDK what to do in this situation. I used one of the more known reputable sellers here, though likely a non US IP address, as I think that's what triggered blizzard.

Gold seems to be sold a lot, so I don't believe that everyone who buys gold is getting warned, banned, or both. So what do I here? Thanks

I honestly wouldn't worry about it, make sure they dont do it threw mail or anything face to face.

Buy some TCG mount, sell it and get gold if you want the safe way, or try to trade more of green items for gold face to face with gold seller. Simply buy new account that has level 90 (pref druid) or some class that perfectly bot but anything can work. Get HB key and bot on it. All gold you get you send yourself. There are tons of ways.

Another method is the guild bank method. Either you join their guild and withdraw the gold, or they join your guild and deposit the gold.

Yeah it's a fake e mail. Most likely someone along the gold selling chain who got your e mail and is trying to trick you into clicking something that will give them all your account info.

I've gotten an Ingame Mail just like that. I know if blizzard tracked it and thought i was buying/selling gold they'd take gold at bare minimum if nothing worse, but it was a in blue font in my inbox. Face to face works, but a level 1 trading gold is a red flag, so is random letter names.

Also a lot of the gold sellers don't deliver the gold themselves, and have a foreign company do it that doesn't care about your safety, I have had them send messages like 'i have your gold order' or 'come get your gold' or other stupid things and I have cancelled orders just for that.
