View Counter bug?

I am uncertain if it is a bug, great traffic, or bots, but my post that is sold and has been sold went up 800 views in 8 hours. In the last 20 min, it went up exactly 100 views all at once as far as I can tell. Is this a bug or is it real traffic?

This has been reported before and we suspect it's a bug, but have not yet found the cause.

We have confirmed it's not real traffic and we're pretty certain it's also not a bot either. Your the first to report the issue so quickly, so we'll be able to check some real-time logs over the last few hours and hopefully determine what's happening.
