Sometimes I wonder... is the last name the trader on the other end is giving you the real deal? I've had one previous experience where I tried to recall an account that was scammed from me, but when I phoned Blizzard, they stated this last name wasn't correct. So is there any possible way of confirming a last name? I suppose doing just that, phoning Blizzard and trying a 'fake' recall, but that produces a bit of risk. Does anyone have a good method, if any, to confirm the last name a trader has given you?

[/ QUOTE ]Your way is good, Because if u do call with the name given, And it's wrong, that means that they are a scammer and who gives a [censored] if there account is flaged, If it does work then u dont have to worry about anything, if ur willing to toss out 20$ u can make a new account and if it doesnt let u xfer a char or at least start a char xfer to that account, Then it is a wrong last name.

Make sure the last name on the Paypal account and the WoW account match. Reverse Phone # look up, has to be a land line though.

Best Method - Call Blizzard and tell them you aren't at home but you'd like to know how much play time you have left. They ask for your name and secret answer and that's it. Works everytime! /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Usually if the last name on the Paypal account match and the FIRST letter of the last name on the WoW Account match you're in good business. But, like previous people said, look up land line phones and maybe try to talk to the person via telephone and get a last name. Or try to get them to send you a letter via post office.

Tried and proven. #1 easiest and most discreet way to check.
