Hello

I sold my account to Vbarrack back in january. I have not even touch that account ever since and today i got a e-mail from them that saying I took the account back and if i don't provide them with the account information they want the money back or they are going to sue me...

I have e-mailed them back saying I have not touched the account and I told them since they have my ID with all the information they can retrieve it for themselves. but they insist I took the account and want the money back.

is there anyway to prove I didn't recall the account???

I honestly think the buyer who purchased my account from Vbarrack tried to resell it or something and tried to explain to them but they are keep accusing me of stealing the account back.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

vBarrack is GamePal. GamePal is a VERY shady organisation who acknowledges they wrong each and every one of their customers. You most likely will get put on collection, but the best thing to do is not respond or even threaten legal action back at them. They are cowards and thieves and have no legal recourse against you, they're just trying to scare you into giving them back double what you owe, which is nothing.

Don't worry about those scum :)

theres a list of sites that have been linked to gamepal. To my knowledge vbarrack is a different guy, I've never purchased from there before never needed to.

Why don't you just resolve the issue with VBarrack? Everyone is always defensive about this when all it takes is one phone call to Blizzard which you can return the password and be done with it. Even if you can't, why not at least try to explain your situation? If someone on the forum was complaining in the scammers section, you'd respond to that so I'd recommend you do the same here as well. Furthermore, if they do forward you to a collection agency, then you need to deal with that which becomes a hassle so you should probably try to resolve it before it gets worse.

BuyMMOAccounts, Gamepal, Toonstorm, and VBarrack are probably 4 of the largest WoW Dealers which are somewhat legitimate and from my understanding they had or are still using some form of a collection agency or debt collector if you don't respond. BuyMMOAccounts even tells you in a contract that if the account is recalled, they will forward it to a collection agency. I don't really know about the rest but have heard complaints from all 4 in terms of some debt company going after them.
