User Threads added to sidebar - updated June.10.2014

Members will now see a new "My Threads" area in the sidebar that displays the 5 most recent new threads for that member including the time, date, forum and how many replies they have. This should make it easier for everyone to quickly check their threads directly on the forum homepage or any other page. There is a 60 second update delay, so it's not a live feed.

Hope you guys enjoy it and let me know what you think.

Update: Instead of the latest threads being listed, now members subscribed threads are listed instead. This way members can select which threads they want to see in the sidebar. Max threads has also been increased from 6 to 8.

Only active subscribed threads will be displayed. Threads with no new posts for more than 30 days will not display.

I like its easy to access our threads..i dont need to look in subscribe threads now just to find a quick topic link or finding it to its forum section.

Saw it today , and asked myself , it was there all the time and i was blind :p ?
Thanks for the shortcut !

This is pretty buggy right now for me. I'm using firefox, and most of the time, it shows me threads that aren't even mine. Right now, it is showing me a smite account for sale, EU west LoL account, and a Age of conan. None of which I have ever viewed.

I checked your account by logging into it and the 3 threads that were listed were your 3 threads, not someone elses. Does this only happen in FF?

Anyone else have this problem?

It doesn't always happen, but when it does, it takes at least a few page loads for it to go away. I'll screenshot it when it happens next.

If we could edit which threads we can put into that sidebar that'd be nice because the thread topics in that sidebar have literally no activity or already answered threads.

I would like my sales threads to be there haha.

Immortality the next time you see the bug can you post the URLs to the threads?

Currently it shows only the most recently created threads, to change it where members could select what threads they wanted would require a major code change so that's currently not possible. Perhaps this is something that can be added in the future.

These are the three that are showing now:

It appears from the URLs that it's listing another random members threads. I'll try to figure out why it's happening. I've been checking my own account the last few days and haven't noticed it happening at all, so it must be some weird situation. Thanks for posting the info.

A change has been made that we expect should fix the issue where other people's threads appear in the "My Thread" area in the sidebar, however because I haven't been able to replicate it myself, I'm unable to test to see if it works.

Please post here if you see someone elses threads still being posted.
