Notes:
This account is fully prepped and ready to do anything in the game (PvP, PvE, farming, crafting, etc). A lot of blood, sweat and tears (i.e., crazy grinding) went into making what it is now, and it is subsequently considered one of the top-tier accounts on SV. Even though I was very much unconventional in my build (used a great mix of external and internal skills), the fact that my stats were very balanced and that I was Tai Chi-based gave me a lot of leeway and variety.
You will do tons of DPS in instances with Perish Blade in PvE and can farm EJ for weapon manuals with no problem whatsoever (which, as you can see, I did tons of). This account is also very capable for higher-end PvP. I was #2 in both the School Rivalry and Dragon & Tiger tournament win rankings (41 wins and 123 wins, respectively) on the server, and honestly was about to take over the top spot on both with just a few more weeks of playing. I also placed in the top 5 in Mount Hua the past three months (October, November, December) and was pretty much the only player to break the Light alliance guild monopoly they had on all Hua positions dating back to August. My ping (east coast) and laptop were far from top-of-the-line, so those closer to Cali and with much nicer PCs will be able to actually fare much better than me I imagine. In all honesty, most of my pvp success came from my weapon manual damage and just being smart and practical with the basic school/vagrant/cash sets I had, along with my Wudang Lvl 8 Tai Chi rage (which I affectionately call my "Walmart Tai Chi," haha!) which did crazy damage with my 40% eq/book bonuses. I mainly just used my ancient skills in group fights or things like school wars/battlefield.
Probably the most attractive thing about this toon is the options you still have. As I said, I was still a hybrid, so you can still choose to betray and/or go full internal or external (with the full mats included to train away incognito, if you wish). The fully maxed AT 2nd inner is especially nice, now that you have a Unique-level faction inner to rely on should you leave school (you would have to reroll or get new eq for Yin, however). The only thing missing is a true Jianghu inner. I was working on Chaotic Yuan (unlocked to 43), so that is where the new owner would come in and need to get work done.
I love this game and all the friends I met on here, and am proud of all the hard work I put into this toon. Honestly, it was just time to move on from the game and concentrate on real life. Once I realized how much work/investment/time/money was needed to take that extra step in development, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I don't have the time nor the resources to continue that level of dedication, and with this being the holiday season I was reminded in particular of what is truly important in my life - like friends, family, my career, relationships, etc. I think many others who play this game could use a big reminder of that as well, but I'll just leave it at that for now. xD
