I've been thinking about intelligent proxy use and powerleveling. It seems that one of the biggest risks with powerlevelling is that one powerleveller gets caught and any accounts using his IP get tainted.
Has anyone considered running a proxy on their own PC for powerleveling, the idea being that the leveller uses this proxy for your account only. All activity on the account comes from your PC and thus is 100% safe.
The setup would be like this:

From a technical point of view this isn't too tricky. I tested it with Proxifier (client) and Freeproxy (server) and it seemed fine. There's many other combinations that I'm sure would work too.

<ul style="list-style-type: disc">[*]The ONLY ip address on your account is your regular IP address.[*]Should greatly improve safety[/list]

<ul style="list-style-type: disc">[*]Increased security risk to your PC - should be small as long as you are careful about setting up the proxy.[*]If powerleveller gets banned for botting / abusing economy could it taint other accounts on that IP?[*]Powerleveller could use your proxy for other accounts - good proxy software and monitoring the proxy logs should stop this.[*]Powerleveller could 'leak' details of your proxy - Again logs and good setup should stop this.[/list]
These risks are minimal if the powerleveller is reputable and done 100% by hand with nobots (are there any like this?)
