I am looking to sell a Battle.net account with two accounts on it - both Cataclysm and both Alliance.

One has 600 Herbalism and 600 Mining character.

One has 525 Herbalism and 525 Mining character. (currently has some game time and herb/mining is rising right now)

Also various level 1-85 alts.

I have the CD Keys, SQA, and everything else except the ID.

This account belonged to a friend who I got to try WoW but didn't enjoy it at all, so it will not be recalled.

I am asking for $40 via PayPal.

Since many people have tried to scam me in the past, I will outline the rules below:

1) After I receive money into PayPal, you will get the username and password.
2) After the money has cleared into my bank account, you will get the rest of the information.

pre mop accounts are pretty much worthless at the moment, if they had mop they would be worth a bit more.
you can always use a middleman if you are concerned with the legitimacy of your buyer.

 

Would it be fair to say I'd give account first to people with rep, but if we're both 0 rep, payment first?

I've worked on a number of other forums and have rep there, but they are in Swedish and would not mean much to any English speaker.

I just want to find a way that would best protect myself as well as the buyer. Last time someone with rep (though they are not banned after scam thread) tried to scam the mage I am selling they did not pay and it took me weeks to get it back from Blizzard.

 

That's usually how it works around here. You need to build a reputation before you can ask for someone to send payment first. No one with their head on straight will send money to someone without reputation with just the hope that you're not lying. Not to mention you're very new to these forums.

 

Still man you have no reputation I would ask for character first then payment all depends on who is buying it

 

This has scam written all over it not saying you are a scammer of any sort but just the way you advertise your product who in their right mind would only accept username and password when paying real money. I too have been scammed but if you want to get rid of these accounts you will have to take a chance. I'm very interested in the 600herb/minning account but the fact that i dont get the amount of information to know i'm purchasing a safe account right away worries me so therefore I can't offer anything unless I get information first like i said real money vs Virtual Currency or account Real money wins everytime.

 

1. It doesn't matter if the money makes it to your bank account. If a dispute is opened paypal will create a negative balance for which you will need to answer if you lose.
2. You're asking someone to pay you first when you have no reputation to speak of.
3. You should aim for 20$.
