It does suck that they are understaffed, as can be noted as scammers are not been banned fast enough.

Well, here we are once again with more drama. To think, I just want to trade, and had to be called into this. I'll tell you a wonderful story.
You see, EGS was attacked by a large DDOS attack recently which forced the site down. What does that mean? Imagine having 1000 phone calls sent to one phone line, which results in 999 calls to be busy. In a nutshell that's what happened to EGS. This occurred early to mid August, about the 12th. At that time, a new firewall was put in place which fixed the DDOS attack, yet no one could still log in here. Well, there's a reason you see, upper staff discusses things not open to many members. There's always been internal conflicts in the upper ranks, but you guys never saw that. I've always been neutral, and I got along with everyone just fine, but IF and Derfy were seriously getting into it with Monarch. There was a huge grudge about money. This was the straw that broke the camel's back, the DDOS was the perfect cover to use as a means to launch their plan of attack.
What they did was
- Anyone ever notice that when you try and reset your password, it routed the user to their website?
- Anyone ever notice that new registrations were limited to ONLY four characters, but the system will not accept new registrations names less than five characters? Effectively no one could register.
- Administrative logs were producing access denied errors for Monarch. It's likely in their attempt to cover their tracks, they knew it would also block Monarch from reading the logs.
- Changed my contact information from .com to .biz
- Removed Mod panel for staff members (some staff may remember my post asking about this in the staff section)
- Changed everyone's email address to something else. It was a mass email change, which is the reason no one could change their password. Your email was no longer in the system. They changed mine, from *****@yahoo.com, to ******@yahoo.net, manually. Come the hell on, yahoo doesn't offer a .net version. This is the reason I lost login access, and I couldn't reset my password. They had to be very careful what they did to me.
- Took the EGS mass mailing list to contact EVERY one of you. This is how they went to 500 members in no time. Forums take years to develop.
- Locked out individual profile views for users NOT logged into the site. This forced users to register, which caused an error and routed them to the reset password page. This reset password link was modified to "their" website. They manipulated traffic.
- Their forum was registered according to Whois Aug 9th, 2009. Planning was prior to that I'm sur
IF and Derfy, were looking for money. I mean I can understand the need and desire to make money, but it's very illegal for a business, to sabotage another business to the point it becomes not operational, and then to take their traffic?
Kendrah1 actually offered them money for this mailing list they stole, so he could at least <span style="color: Red">salvage</span> (the key word) any remaining attempt to contact individuals collectively on a forum, and only if, EGS was to never come back up. he did NOT know that they were the deliberate cause of the fall of EGS until very recently. he was trying to salvage a sinking ship. They intentionally sabotaged the ship, EGS, to create an alternative website, to make themselves out to be a hero. Sabatoge EGS with their administrative powers, create a new forum, take EGS traffic, use the DDOS as a cover, and they want to be the hero? They were the reason "YOU - reading this right now" were not able to log into this very site from mid August until now.
EGS should have recovered after August 12th. It did not. Well, the rift between Derfy and Infamous Flame, with Monarch finally took over. The real reason for their forum, is because they sabotaged EGS to not come back online, through use of their administrative powers. Imagine, an administrator going corrupt, and unleashing hell on your website. This is why Monarch was unable to fix the site for the longest time. He couldn't identify what they manipulated, what was causing you and I NOT to be able to log in.
Now that you know what happened, do you feel better knowing how their website was constructed, and what it was based upon? Supporting their middleman services through their cunning methods is rewarding their theft. Are they the hero's, or are they just scheming?
So what is the point of buying a MM service that is $2-3 cheaper then all the others but the security checks they do on users before you even buy the MM service is crap? You might sell your account then person recalls payment straight away. But if they actually had listened to reports of that user in question done this before then this would of never happened to you. This is why there MM service is not in high demand, compared to there competitor EGS what gets in 5-10 MM services a day compared to there 1-2 every 3-4 days.
