Transfer to WotLK?

Looking to buy my son an account from epicmmo.com.

The account purchasing does not have WotlK enabled- will he be able to transfer the character to his account which has WotLK enabled?

Only if both accounts share the last name. So if they don't match, you would have to purchase a new account under the same name of which the account you purchased from EpicMMO.com
